St. Petersburg
In May 2018, “Titran” performed work on dismantling a set of autoclaves at the site of the LSR aerated concrete plant located on Oktyabrskaya Embankment in St. Petersburg, and on installing a set of autoclaves at the site of the new LSR plant located in Sertolovo, a suburb of St. Petersburg.
The work was carried out in a short amount of time due to the approach of the FIFA World Cup, as a result of which it was planned to close the roads for moving all large-tonnage and large-sized vehicles within St. Petersburg and there would be a delay in the launch of the new plant in Sertolovo.
On the site located on the Oktyabrskaya embankment, “Titran” carried out lifting and loading on seven autoclaves over 39 meters long and about 4 meters in diameter. To simplify the transportation of autoclaves from site to site, it was decided to dismantle autoclave counterweights weighing 6 tons each, as well as to manufacture special tools for their removal.
At the second site, unloading, installation of counterweights and installation of autoclaves in the design position were carried out. Thanks to the well-coordinated work of our staff, the autoclaves were moved on time and with proper quality. The total weight of the equipment was 616 tons.
The works included:
- dismantling of counterweights, lifting and loading seven autoclaves L* W* H (m) = 39.2 * 3.7 * 3.8 on vehicles, weighing (gross) 88,000 kg. each, from Site №1
- unloading, installation of counterweights and installation in the design position of seven autoclaves L * W * H (m) = 39.2 * 3.7 * 3.8 weighing (gross) 88,000 kg. each, to Site №2
